About Us

NUCD has been India’s premier academic gathering of medical practitioners in diabetes care for eleven years. From the first edition in 2015 to the most recent one concluded in January 2025, the event has convened international speakers of repute, thousands of delegates, and exhibitions featuring developments in diabetes medication. What separates NUCD from other conferences in diabetes care is its dedication to resolving physicians’ concerns with the clinical aspects of diabetes management and treatment, by highlighting issues in medical practice versus theory.

For the first time in 2026, NUCD will be held in a hybrid format, combining the strengths of virtual and in-person engagement. Day 1 will be hosted online, allowing doctors from across the country and beyond to participate virtually, while Day 2 will feature an in-person programme in Bhubaneswar, along with a live telecast for our online participants. This hybrid edition of NUCD is expected to attract over 2,000 virtual participants and more than 200 in-person delegates, including general practitioners, diabetologists, and medical researchers from India and beyond.

The event maintains an inventive academic format and focuses on themes that push the boundaries of diabetes care and research. Each of NUCD’s themed sessions is 90 minutes long and includes a combination of talks, interviews, and panel discussions. NUCD 2026 will host a wide range of speaker profiles with diverse opinions from physicians and scientists from around the world.
